Should I take a cruise to the Eastern, Western or Southern Caribbean?

Eastern Caribbean
The Eastern Caribbean offers a wider variety of cruise options than any other part of the globe. Here, ships visit some of the Caribbean’s most developed ports of call, making them the preferred choice for many first-time cruisers. You’ll find a diversity of well-organized activities, ranging from snorkeling and fishing excursions to shopping trips and history-filled sightseeing tours. Eastern Caribbean itineraries also tend to have a more relaxed pace, allowing guests more days at sea to unwind and enjoy all of the superliner’s onboard amenities.

Western Caribbean
The Western Caribbean has also earned much worldwide praise, especially from adventurous cruisers. Plunge into unparalleled snorkeling and diving opportunities, along with an abundance of fascinating historic sites.

Southern Caribbean
Off the beaten track, the Southern Caribbean is a relatively undiscovered oasis. But with truly spectacular vacation experiences around every hidden cove, this tropical region is home to some of the Caribbean’s best-kept secrets. Discover thriving rainforests, majestic volcanoes, incredible snorkeling and scuba diving, pristine beaches, charming boutique shops, and world-class dining.

Adventure of the Seas/Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship Review

Adventure of the Seas will take your sailing out of San Juan, PR to a whole new level! You will definitely enjoy thrilling adventures from sunup to sundown.

During the day you may enjoy the one-of-a-kind ice-skating rink, the challenging rock-climbing wall, in-line skating or a 9-hole miniature golf game. You may also relax and people watch at the Royal Promenade among other options for daytime activities.

At night you can enjoy many entertainment venues like dancing to Latin rhythms at Boleros, Broadway-style performances & ice-skating shows among many other activities and after a day of exploring the world, its exotic cuisine and interesting cultures, you return to your very comfortable stateroom.

I noticed that the main pool is very lively, however, if you prefer a more serene atmosphere you may visit the Solarium and that the dining venues range from Jade Sushi Bar to Chops Grille & Portofino Restaurant.

This very elegant and activity packed Royal Caribbean cruise ship is ideal for everyone.

A 7 day cruise from San Juan, PR to the Southern Caribbean from only $419.00 p/p (Feb.26,2011)

A memorable booking…

A young couple was interested in a 3 day Bahamas cruise out of Port Canaveral and called me looking for options.

After I asked what dates they were interested in traveling, I asked them if they had cruise before, he mentioned that he had cruise before, however this was going to be her first cruise and she was a little worried. Later on, I asked him which cruise lines he had traveled on and began searching for dates and cruise lines.

I ended up booking a sailing for Dec on RCCL. I advised them that this ship sailed out on a Fri at 4:30pm and returned on Mon at 7:00am.which allowed her to work on Friday until 12:30pm, go directly to the port & returns on Monday at 7:00am allowing her to get to work on time. I also advised them that this cruise is normally $189.00 p/p, however, this particular sailing had a sale of $139.00 p/p for an oceanview cabin, which does not happen often.

I called them upon their return and they were very excited and loved it.

She was really worried about going on a cruise, therefore, I informed her on everything from the check in process to the formal night and the ports scheduled and also went over her reservation confirmation booklet with her.

When they returned they were very appreciative of all the information I provide them and she told me that she met someone who had purchased a cruise for her and her mom on their own and were not aware of the formal night among other things and gave them one of my cards. She still talks about the cruise and wants to book a 2 more cruises.
